On January 26, Springfield police officer Aaron Pearson was shot while in the line of duty, an incident resulting in severe, career-ending injuries. He faces a long medical recovery which will pose significant financial demands on him and his family.
Aaron is a graduate student in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice. Our department is supporting Officer Pearson and his family by collecting donations in our department office. Our office is located on the second floor of Strong Hall, Room 231. Please consider donating in support of our fellow Missouri State citizen who has made such a tremendous sacrifice for our safety and wellbeing. Checks can be made payable to “Missouri FOP Foundation” with “Springfield Police, Pearson” written on the memo line.
