We are excited to add to our mock trial leadership team here at Missouri State University! See Head Coach Dr. Jennifer LaPrade’s introduction of Prosecuting Attorney Elizabeth Fax below:
“Elizabeth Fax from the Greene County Prosecutor’s Office is now officially on board as an assistant coach of our new Missouri State Mock Trial teams. She will use her expertise and vast mock trial experience to help coach MSU Mock Trial students on how to use the law and objections effectively and help prepare them for competitions.
Elizabeth is a Senior Assistant Prosecuting attorney in the Persons Unit at the Greene County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. She prosecutes cases of child physical and sexual abuse, child endangerment, sexual assault, violations of orders of protection, physical elder abuse, and domestic violence. She has worked for the Greene County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office since August of 2015.
Elizabeth began participating in mock trial during her junior year of high school. She attended the University of Missouri for her undergraduate degree and competed on their mock trial team all four years. She was the captain and president of the team her junior and senior year. While in law school at the University of Missouri, Elizabeth was a member of the National Moot Court team and the Trial Advocacy team. Elizabeth served as Chair of the Board of Advocates from 2014-2015. She also coached Columbia College’s undergraduate mock trial team during the 2014-2015 season. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, son, and two rambunctious dogs.”
