The Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice is gearing up for its fourth open house for prospective high school and community college students. This Spring 2022 open house will be held on April 8th and run from 9:30 to 2:30.
In the morning from 9:30 to 12 on the 3rd floor of the Plaster Student Union building, students will have the opportunity to explore a range of career options by meeting with representatives from over a dozen criminal justice agencies, including the FBI, U.S. Marshal’s Service, Drug Enforcement Agency, State Park Rangers, and Missouri Probation and Parole. In addition, they can view a simulated classroom experience, crime scene demonstration, and a practice session of the mock trial team. Students and faculty also will be available to discuss our program and certificates and answer any questions.
After a break for lunch, campus tours will start between 1 and 1:30. Students and families can also visit our Department in Strong Hall.
