We want to thank everyone who attended and helped put together this year’s MSU Criminal Justice Spring Open House. Over 170 prospective students came to Springfield during a surprisingly wintry April day from varying parts of Missouri. They got an opportunity to visit with more than a dozen criminal justice agencies, meet with our faculty and students, and view classroom, mock trial, and crime scene demos. Together with the fall 2021 open house, a total of 315 students attended this recruitment event during the academic year.

Special thanks to all the agency representatives who took time out of their schedules to participate in our career expo. And, a very special note of appreciation to Professor Marijana Kotlaja who will be heading to a new job next year but whose work and dedication has had a tremendous impact on the open house successes here at MSU!

Plans are in motion to hold another criminal justice open house in October.
