Graphic Designer Mehdi Saeedi (http://www.mehdisaeedi.com/) was born in Tehran and educated at Tehran’s Malekeh Ashtar School of Graphic Design, and at Cambridge University. Saeedi finds inspiration in traditional Persian script, calligraphy and typography, utilizing the optical opportunities presented by the dancing, sensual, and ornamental nature of Persian script to induce notions of movement, velocity, and space into his graphic creations. His work has won numerous international prizes, has been exhibited at major museums world-wide, and is part of several prominent museum, public, and private collections.
