Day of the Dead – Dia de los muertos

October 23, 2012 by Diversity and Inclusion

Come and join us at the “Dia de lost Muertos” celebration. Learn from an authentic representation of a typical tradition observed in some Hispanic countries as a way to honor the dead.

You will see a display of a typical alter, pictures, crafts, music and calaveritas (humorous poems made to honor the memory of a dead loved one). Come and same fresh made pan de muerto and hot chocolate.

November 2 at the Siceluff Library, 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
