Screening and discussion of 13th
The MSU African and African American Studies Program invites you to attend a screening and discussion of Ava DuVernay’s 2016 documentary 13th, an “in-depth look at the prison system in the United States and how it reveals the nation’s history of racial inequality” (IMDB). Dr. Jacynda Ammons, of the Department of History, will moderate discussion. Pizza will be served.
