The Festival
The Modern and Classical Languages Department at Missouri State University invites you to its 4th Annual Day of the Dead Festival!
This is the perfect opportunity to learn about this old Mexican cultural practice and the values surrounding the remembrance of ancestors. The traditions of other cultures and groups from around the world will be represented as well.
Join us as we celebrate the diversity of different cultures!
Craft Workshops
Learn to make traditional Mexican crafts like sugar skulls, painted eggs, and beautiful paper picado in our interactive workshops!

- 10:00 Doors open to public: Visit altar and enjoy Pan de Muerto (until 2:00 pm)
