This fall, Dr. Leslie Anderson, Professor in Counseling, Leadership and Special Education and Dr. Lyle Foster, Assistant Professor in Sociology and Anthropology are teaming up to offer a new course titled, Virus, Violence and Victims: Contemporary Issues in Unprecedented Times.
The goal for the course is to provide students, faculty and staff with opportunities to critically examine the unprecedented and historical series of events we are currently experiencing. The course is an opportunity to look beyond the headlines and examine systems, social underpinnings and historical legacies that may help prepare our campus community for engaging the world as citizen scholars.
This interdisciplinary course will bring students together from various academic disciplines. Due to the nature of the engagement in the course, enrollment is limited to 25 students.
