Happy Weekend Everyone! I hope you have had a splendid week. There is all kinds of fun holiday stuff going on this weekend and you should all go out and enjoy it!

 The Festival of Lights is kicking off tomorrow with the Mayor’s Tree Lighting Ceremony. This is the start of six weeks of holiday activities and while you may be thinking, ‘it’s too early to be starting Christmas stuff,” you, my friend, are wrong. Christmas is awesome! Also, that night there will be free ice skating at Mediacom Ice Park. More information is provided HERE.

And for those of you who like to consider yourself musicians or poets, The Park Central Library Branch is having an open mic night tonight at 7:00. Go and show off your incredible music talent or give a spoken word performance. More information HERE.
