Here are some events this week ahead happening on or around campus:
May 10
Study Day
On May 10, 2013, no classes will be in session and this is our “Study Day” all day long. “Classes will not be held today in hopes that students will avail themselves of the various resources provided to help them pass final exams with flying colors! Offices will be open.”

Electronic Arts Student Showcase
Date, Time and Location:
My Daughter’s Dragon – a charming story about a young couple’s desire to have their young daughter accept her step-dad as her second father.
At the Top of Your Lungs – a high energy musical about two friends who leave a small town to journey to the big city to find their way in life.
Oriliion City – an original mobile video game designed for Ipad and Iphone play. Come experience this game for yourself and help turn back on the power in Orillion City.
World Wise – an interactive new media experience designed to augment the World Wise exhibit at Springfield’s Discovery Center. This project will become an active part of the Discovery Center’s exhibit starting in May.
Parking is available for free in Lot 24 after 5 p.m. (at the corner of National and Grand) or the Park and Ride Garage behind Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts.
Electronic Arts Student Showcase — an evening of the best work produced by Missouri State University’s Electronic Arts students.”

Media, Journalism and Film Student Showcase

“The 17th Annual Media, Journalism and Film Student Showcase will highlight a wide variety of media and broadcast journalism work produced this year by the students in the MJF department. There will be a variety of short films, TV, audio, broadcast news, and new media projects.
The event is free and open to the public. Free parking is available at Lot 24 (at the corner of National and Grand) or the Park and Ride garage behind Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts.
A variety of great student projects created by the talented students of the Media, Journalism & Film Department at Missouri State University.”
