HAPPY HALLOWEEN WEEKEND

I have a feeling it’s going to be a chilly weekend. The wind is blowing and the air is bitterly cold. It’s time to start pull out your winter coat and bundle up in the morning. While all of that may sound depressing and just down-right awful, keep in mind, Halloween is next week and there is all kinds of halloween-ish stuff to do this weekend!

Springfield is home to a great haunted house called The Hotel of Terror. Established in 1978, the haunted house keeps getting better and better. It’s located downtown at 334 North Main Avenue and weekend admission is $13.00 a person. For more information, click HERE.

Also, tomorrow night is C-Streets Annual Thriller Dance. At 7:30 PM, the C-Street Zombie Corps will be presenting Thriller on C-Street, Epidemic III: The Dr. Deadalous Traveling Zombie Show. The 10-15 minute show is rated PG-13 and is FREE. For more information, click HERE.

Don’t be afraid of the temperature this weekend. Get out and experience all of the Halloween fun that Springfield has to offer!

What a week!

As the weekend draws nearer, students are searching desperately for something exciting to partake in. Never fear students, I am here to tell you that you could not possibly be bored this weekend. I have come up with a list of events–affordable and enticing–for you and your friends to enjoy.

Ghost Tour

Ever wanted to tour a spooky castle? Here’s your chance. Pythian Castle offers ghost tours for the curious and adventuresome. Pythian Castle is said to be Missouri’s most haunted castle.. so enter if you dare.  More information HERE.

Skinny Improv Mainstage

C-Street Thriller Practice

C-Streets 3rd Annual Thriller dance is starting practices on Sunday for anyone interested. The Thriller dance on C-Street has become a huge deal and you should all get involved. More information HERE.
