In April 2012, one of our MA in Writing students, Katie Wertz, presented a poster at the Graduate Interdisciplinary Forum held in Plaster Student Union. The Graduate College describes the Interdisciplinary Forum (IDF) as “a venue allowing graduate students to share the research and creative work they have completed in their graduate programs.”

Out of 62 students who displayed posters, Wertz was the only participant from the Department of English. Her poster was an overview of her research on global e-collaboration in technical writing, which she is developing into a degree paper for her MA in Writing.

The Department of English would like to congratulate Wertz and thank her for representing our department at this year’s IDF.
