The English Department is proud to present Kerry James Evans, MSU Alumnus, who will be reading from his debut poetry collection, Bangalore, fresh from Copper Canyon Press, as well as some of his newest poems.  The reading will be on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Plaster Student Union Theater.

Kerry James Evans holds a PhD in English from Florida State University and an MFA in creative writing from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. His poems have been published in Agni, Beloit Poetry Journal, Narrative, New England Review, North American Review, Ploughshares, Prairie Schooner, and many other journals.
