The Society for Technical Communication (STC) will be hosting its first meeting of the 2017 school year on Tuesday, October 17th, from 5:30pm-6:30pm in SICL 412. Come hear Heather Messick, a graduate of the Technical and Professional Writing program, speak about her work in the field of high tech. She will discuss her preparation for the job, projects, tasks, and collaboration with others. She is also promoting internships where she works!

About the speaker

Heather Messick graduated from the Technical and Professional Writing Program undergraduate program at MSU in 2012 and finished her master’s degree in the summer.

Heather has worked at National Instruments for almost 3 years and is currently a Staff Technical Writer on the Data Acquisition and Control team.
