Missouri State University preservice teachers have founded a student affiliate chapter of the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE). Meetings begin this fall, with a focus on building a future-driven platform for prospective, current, and former English Education students.

Founding members Molly Porfidio and Kirstie Hunter are pleased to announce the affiliate’s officers: Macey Hausam, Vice President; Sarai Cox, Secretary; Sophia Guitierrez, Treasurer; David Lacob, NCTE Liaison.

MSU students pursuing an English Education degree are invited to contact Porfidio or Hunter about membership and meetings.
