Poet Francine J. Harris reading for Moon City Reading Series

Francine J. Harris, author of play dead, will be reading this Friday at the PSU as part of the Moon City Reading Series. Harris is the winner of the 2017 Lambda Literary and Audre Lorder Awards and a finalist for the 2017 Hurston/Wright Legacy Award. Her first collection, allegiance, was a finalist for the 2013 Kate Tufts Discovery and PEN Open Book Awards. Originally from Detroit, she has received a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, is a Cave Canem poet, and is currently Writer in Residence at Washington University in St. Louis.

  • What: Moon City Reading Series featuring Francine J. Harris
  • When: Friday, February 9th at 6:00pm
  • Where: Union Club, on the 4th floor of the PSU
  • Other: Free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
