Fourth Annual MSU Undergraduate Literature Conference

February 9, 2018 by Lauren Troy

The English Department is excited to announce the fourth annual MSU Undergraduate Literature Conference will be held on April 13-14, 2018, in PSU 317. Dr. Rich Schur of Drury, a specialist in African American Literature and Culture, will deliver the keynote address.

Undergraduates from every English program are encouraged to apply. Students who are selected will read their literature papers to a group of peers and faculty. Participating in the conference is a great way for students to share their academic work and develop as a writer, researcher, and public speaker. It is also excellent preparation for a professional career or graduate school.

To apply

Students need to fill out and email the submission form to Dr. Lanya Lamouria by midnight on Friday, March 2. Please type “ULC Submission” in the subject line of the email. The submission form can be found on the English Department’s website.
