The STC 17th Annual Regional Student Conference will be held at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri on Saturday, April 13, 2019. Attend presentations by a variety of speakers in the field as well as from colleges and universities. Please register online before conference day.

This year’s lineup of speakers is impressive, including presenters and alumni from Garmin, Hallmark, Cerner, and Tor Books Publishing Co in NYC. You will also learn about rhetorical listening strategies that can help you assess audiences and participate well in groups. As in past years, we will have representatives from local employers tell us what skills you need to get hired at those companies. Employers will stay for lunch so you can visit with them more. Our research poster session will be during the lunch hour, and we will end around 4:00 pm.
