Student Opportunity with Moon City Review

September 28, 2020 by George Juengel

Moon City Review is the official literary journal of Moon City Press, housed here at MSU in the Department of English. Every year, we have several staff positions open up for students, and we are now looking to fill those positions. We accept applications from any English Department major or minor, but may have to favor grad students and upper class students, as we have a limited number of spots (though please apply if you are interested, regardless of year).

To apply for a student position

Please compile the following items:

  • Letter of intent, explaining why you’d like to work for MCR; please indicate your year and major/minor, along with which genre which you’d like to read: fiction, nonfiction, or poetry
  • Resume
  • Short (10 pages or less) sample of creative work in the genre for which you are applying. Students may apply in more than one genre, but should turn in a separate application for each.

Turn in all of the above in a folder to the English Department, 215 Siceluff, addressed to Michael Czyzniejewski, by 5 p.m., CT, on Friday, October 2.
