Workplace Writing Student Conference

The Workplace Writing Student Conference, sponsored by the Workplace Writing Forum, a student organization in the English Department, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Glass Hall, Room 486. The conference will feature topics for students interested in professional and technical writing.

This year’s speakers include

  • Dr. Rhonda Stanton, MSU, “What TPW Is, Getting the Job, and Negotiating Salary”
  • Nick Altrup, 417 Marketing, “Future-Proofing Your Career: Adapting Skills for Success in an AI-Driven World”
  • Drs. Sam Dragga, Amy Hodges and Leslie Seawright, “Is that Ethical? How Things Have Changed and How They Are Still the Same”
  • Sam Mathews, “Demystifying DITA”

This English Week event is free and open to the public.
