The COVID-19 pandemic altered education and the use of technology in many ways. We are more dependent on digital and streaming technologies a flexible, reliable, and user-friendly platform is at an all-time high. The COVID-19 pandemic caused many technology providers to enhance their products and others to fall behind in providing features needed because of changes in education. Because of this, the University has decided to end its relationship with Sonic Foundry, the parent company of Mediasite due to this limitation in functionality and rapidly increasing license costs.
