Become a GEP 101 instructor

First-Year Programs has started Fall 2022 instructor recruitment. If you are interested in teaching GEP 101, First-Year Foundations, visit the First-Year Programs website to learn more and apply. Date of first consideration is Wednesday, March 9, 2022. Please direct any questions to Dr. Tracey Glaessgen, Center for Academic Success and Transition/First-Year Programs.

Encourage students to become a peer leader for GEP 101

First-Year Programs is in the process of recruiting Peer Leaders for fall 2022. Peer Leaders are students who are going to be sophomores, juniors, or seniors and who have a desire to serve first-year students. Peer Leaders are partnered with a GEP 101 instructor to serve as a resource to both the instructor and students. Peer Leaders also take IDS 310 (Leadership Seminar; at no cost to the Peer Leader), which is a leadership development course to learn ways to better support first-year students as well as to focus upon their own leadership development.

If you know any students who would benefit from this experience, encourage them to apply. The application deadline is Wednesday, March 19. Please direct any questions to Dr. Tracey Glaessgen.
