Please be advised that the Steam Release schedule will be extended to tomorrow, Saturday, May 30th at 9:00 a.m.

This will occur at the Power House located at the Missouri State University campus, 901 South National Avenue, on the east side of the football stadium.  The steam release will occur for a duration of three to four hours with a possible intermittent release.

Be prepared to see a column of steam rising above the stadium and sound similar to a jet engine running continuously during the release.

Purpose of the test:  To commission the new control system so steam can be made and to calibrate the overall system to maximize efficiency.
