In order to increase disinfecting of high touch surfaces and classrooms, office cleaning has been modified to occur once a week. Facilities Management has also received feedback that staff members would like to minimize the number of folks in their individual offices or would rather maintain their own office freeing up additional time for high touch surfaces and classrooms. The following process is available to accommodate these requests:
- Staff members may submit a request to decline Custodial service in their individual office for the fall semester
- Custodial Services is notified of the request and places an identifier on the door frame of office that is declining service
Staff members making this request should be aware of the following:

- The request is for the entire semester
- The request is for all Custodial service so the staff member will be responsible for maintaining their space including emptying waste and recycling containers
- Custodial Services will place a sticker on the office door frame as a visual reminder to Custodial staff that no service is requested in the space. If the identifier is missing, a work request should be entered and/or Work Management contacted
- If there is an urgent need that requires Custodial attention, a work request should be entered and/or Work Management contacted
