Missouri State University has received recognition by the Arbor Day Foundation as a Tree Campus USA for 2020.  This is the sixth year in a row that the University has received this distinction.

Trees make campuses more livable, healthy, and beautiful, benefiting students and the environment as a whole and MSU Grounds Services embraces this philosophy.  The Tree Campus USA program recognizes universities who work to grow their campus forests, engage the community in the promotion of campus forestation, and create a campus their students and staff are proud of.
