The university anticipates a large crowd for the home opener football game on Thursday, September 8^th. Tailgating will begin in Bearfest Village and Parking Lots 18, 19, 22 and 24 at 4:00 p.m., with a 3:00 p.m. setup time. Because classes will still be in session throughout the evening, this will have implications for parking.

While valid parking permits will be honored, the university encourages those that will be on campus after 4:00 p.m. and normally park in Lot 18, 19, and 22 to park in Bear Park South or Lot 24. Those with yellow permits that normally park in Lot 22 after 4:00 p.m., may park in Lot 24 on that evening. Below is a parking map for the event.
