Heads up, commuters and travelers! Lot 40 will be completely closed starting this Wednesday through Sunday to make way for the Route 66 monument installation.

We’re moving fast to get this landmark in place, which means we need the entire lot clear for heavy equipment and site prep.

The Schedule

• Closed: Wednesday morning (March 18) by 0300

• Reopening: Monday morning (March 23) by 0500

Alternative Parking

To keep your week running smoothly, please use the following backups:

• Lot 42: With active permit

• Bear Park North: With active permit, and the shuttle stop is right next to the garage!

Why the rush?

By closing the lot entirely for these five days, crews can work around the clock to anchor the monument and finish the surrounding stonework. This “sprint” schedule allows us to get the lot back to you by Monday morning rather than dragging the construction out for weeks.
