Our goal is to make this website more user friendly and to provide up to date information on activities of the Missouri State Foundation. We want to feature many of the donors that make gifts possible and feature the impact of the gifts on faculty and students. We are having a record year in gifts despite the state of the economy, although our endowment has taken a hit over the past year we are now starting to see some improvement. While we track the numbers and amounts of gifts on a daily basis and we celebrate when we break records, we really celebrate what impact these gifts have on people. A scholarship may be the determining factor on whether a student attends MSU or not. A professorship may determine whether we attract that very special professor to teach here or not. Education changes lives. Donors to the Missouri State Foundation are doing a noble thing in making gifts. I would love to tell the story behind each gift, but that would be very difficult.
