It was a great day last week on August 28th when we offically revealed the “Our Promise- The Campaign for Missouri State University.”   Nearly 4,000 students, faculty, staff, donors, alumni and friends of Missouri State were in attendance when we  announced we intend to raise $125,000,000 over the course of the campaign and also announced we are currently at $94,000,000 already raised.   I hope you will take a look at our campaign website, which was also opened for the first time last Friday, and follow our progress.   This campaign will change Missouri State.   I invite you to participate in this special effort and help provide educational opportunities to thousands of students.    The outdoor picnic and launch of the campaign was a great way to end the first week of the fall semester.    You couldn’t help but get caught up in the excitement of students and the site of thousands of people wearing maroon and white!   Go Bears!
