Robert “Bob” Signaigo has a love for Missouri State that runs deep. He is a 1985 graduate with a B. S. in Business and Industrial Communications with a Marketing Minor. He credits his education and experiences at Missouri State University for helping shape his future and his career as a financial advisor, ultimately allowing him the opportunity to give back to the institution.
He recently established The Robert Signaigo Communication Fund. A fund created specifically to benefit the Communication Department within the University’s College of Arts and Letters. It is Mr. Signaigo’s intention that this fund be used by the department to meet their greatest needs. The fund can be used as general support, but is not limited to: purchasing materials, travel expenses for faculty, staff and students, or other expenditures seen fit to enhance the department.
Currently residing in St. Louis, Mr. Signaigo spent many of his post Missouri State years in Atlanta. His daughter, Price, is currently attending a University in Georgia where she will graduate with an Early Childhood Education degree. She has grown up hearing about her father’s Missouri State University experiences and love for the institution. In 2010, they attended Missouri State’s homecoming to commemorate Mr. Signaigo’s 25th anniversary of the Class of ’85. She was able to see first-hand the campus her father holds dear.
Mr. Signaigo was honored in June 2015 with a The Founders Club Bronze Medallion for his contributions and commitments to the University. The bronze medallion now hangs on the wall in his St. Louis home, a treasure he will proudly pass along to his daughter.
