Missouri State University Distinguished Professor Carol J. Miller from the department of finance, economics and risk management, was honored to receive this year’s national business law professors’ Distinguished Career Achievement Award at the national meeting of the Academy of Legal Studies in Business (ALSB) in San Diego.
One senior professor is selected annually to receive this award nationwide. Miller is a past president of ALSB.
She is in her 40th year of teaching environmental law and business law at MSU. Among her 30 awards are the MSU Foundation Excellence in Teaching Award, the MSU Foundation Excellence in Research Award (three times) and the Board of Governors Public Affairs Award.
