What's happening in the field?

At the Missouri State Fruit Experiment Station

Thar she blows

August 9, 2010 by Marilyn Odneal

On Friday, Dr. Mike Burton tested the rainfall simulator to make sure it would rain properly while Cody Wallace dug trenches next to the test plots. The researchers are going to analyze the surface water runoff from replicated plots treated with biosolids (reclaimed sewage) and conventional fertilizers. They will vary the frequency and duration of the rainfall in the simulators as well.
