Veraison is beginning on Cayuga White. Japanese beetles or Japanese beetle injury was seen on Norton in the North Vineyard, Seyval Blanc in the Research Vineyard, Chambourcin in the MVEC Vineyard and Traminette in the Foundation Vineyard, and on Chardonel in the Chardonel Vineyard. We are planning to spray all of the vineyards for Japanese beetles.
