Raspberries in grow bags fertilized today

All bagged raspberries in the high tunnel trial survived the winter.

The raspberries in grow bags were fertilized today with 1 Tablespoon 14-14-14 Osmocote per bag. All plants survived the winter. Next week we will thin the shoots to 4 per bag and make an assessment of plant size at this point. We set the growing degree day (GDD) clock to ZERO today, April 1st, when we begin accumulating GDD base 50 from now on.
