What's happening in the field?

At the Missouri State Fruit Experiment Station

Kidfest at the Mountain Grove Fairgrounds

August 20, 2016 by Marilyn Odneal

We set up the Missouri State Fruit Experiment Station display at the 2016 Kidfest today and partnered with Paul Anderson, a member of the Beekeepers Association of the Ozarks who set up an observation hive. The bean bag toss into the mouths of a green June beetle or an apple colding moth larvae were a big hit.

Kids toss bean bags into the mouths of either an apple codling moth larvae or a green June beetle.
