Raspberry shade cloth pulled out

We pulled the shadecloth over the raspberries today. If it turns cool and overcast for a while, we can pull it back off easily.

We devised a retractable shade cloth for our raspberries and pulled it over the plants today after yesterday we saw temperatures in the low 90s in the tunnel. We are harvesting Prelude raspberry (floricane fruiting) and noticed some blonde drupes so we wanted to shade them. Of course, it is overcast today and there are tornado warnings out. Putting fruit bags on peaches

Anthony holds up one of the Clemson fruit bags. You can see the wired tab on the left. There are also vents on the bottom and a "V" notch at the top to fit around the branch.

Our crew is putting fruit bags on one peach tree that will be un-sprayed from this point on. We purchased some Clemson Fruit Bags https://www.clemson.edu/extension/peach/commercial/diseases/clemsonfruitbags.html to protect the fruit from insects and disease after early season sprays were applied. Field Grafting Black Walnut
