The field crew began harvesting elderberries last week.  Once harvested the berries are sent through the shaker to remove them from the stem.  Weights are taken on the berries and they are frozen for processing later in the season.  Persimmon Hill Farms processes the berries for us into Elderberry Syrup, Juice and Preserves.
