Squash planted in field today

Tom uses the bedder to be featured in the technical products section of the fall workshop.

We planted squash in a field next to the high tunnel in order to include it in the demonstration plantings for the Greenhouse and High Tunnel Workshop. Even though it is not in the greenhouse or high tunnel, we wanted to include it. Mushroom bags prepared for fruiting today

Karly and Makayla line the shelves with chicken wire to better support the mushroom bags.

We put holes in the mushroom bags today for hopefully the mushrooms to grow out of. We have installed a light in our Shroom Room that is timed to stay on from 6 am to 6 pm. The mushrooms are positively phototrophic and will reach for the lights. Dr. D. K.
