Six MSU marketing students, organized by Sheryl Ruff-Hensley, toured the State Fruit Experiment Station. They had an absolutely beautiful day. We toured the campus and Faurot Hall where the group was introduced to Jennifer Morganthaler. We then went to the winery where C. J. Odneal and Jeremy Emery talked about distillation and the wine making process and then poured wine for the group to taste. Our jams, jellies, apple butter, elderberry juice and syrup and honey were also sampled. We toured the field and research area and then went to the sales area where Jeremy and Leslie handled the groups’ purchases. The MSU marketing department purchases and promotes our products at many of their events and we greatly appreciate this.
