MSU Academic Leaders visited the Fruit Experiment Station today. Dr. Hwang, Department Head of Environmental Plant Science and Natural Resources welcomed the group of MSU faculty members to the station.  Jennifer Morganthaler gave a presentation on the history of the Fruit Experiment Station and the current research at the station and Dr. Hwang gave an update on the National Clean Grapevine program and the genetic work being conducted. The group then enjoyed a wine tasting provided by Jeremy Emery, Shelia Long and Pam Turner. Dr. Wilker and Jeremy then gave a winery and distillery tour.  The group concluded the visit with a hay wagon ride to the research field to and a stop by the sales floor.  It a fun group and we were glad to host them.
