We started pruning blueberry shrubs today. The best time to prune blueberry shrubs is while they are dormant but before the buds begin to swell. Here in Missouri for us the best time is late February to early March. The Ozark Premier plum is in bloom. One of the largest plums grown at the Station. It ripens about August 1st, has an attractive appearance, being nearly round and wholly colored outside with a bright red, tough skin. Its flesh is yellow, firm and fine grained.
