GGP Friday Seminar, Temple Hall 345 @ 2:30P

Harris’ study on using community development and planning as a tool of justice and decolonization for American Indian tribes in North America.

Dr. John C Harris, associate professor from the University of Oklahoma will present, “Planning and ‘Indian Country.'”

Dr. Harris will address the political, legal and social context considerations necessary in working with citizens dominated by culture and tradition. His talk will focus on successful community development and the planning experience he acquired in working with the five Nations in Oklahoma.

The seminar is free, open to the public and about one hour long.
