Photo of Abby AttounAbby received her BS in Community and Regional Planning degree from Missouri State in 2005. She furthered her education by completing an MS in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Iowa. She is currently the Director of Planning and Community Development of Middleton, WI.

In late October, The Jean B. Tyler Leader of the Future Award was presented to Ms. Attoun as a leader in city government.

In a recently published article, she states, “Anyone who knows me well will tell you-I juggle a lot of priorities, projects, and committees. I always make time for citizen input.”

It’s rewarding to take a walk around the neighborhood and see big and small projects that I played a role in.

The city administrator noted Abby as a stand-out for skillful management in leading the city’s sustainability and public arts programs.

Again, congratulations Abby Attoun from your MSU Bear family.
