SMCOG wins NADO award for safety project

The Southwest Missouri Council of Governments (SMCOG) recently won an award. The National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) gave SMCOG a 2019 Excellence in Regional Transportation Award. In 2018, they won the Innovation Award. Connecting through geography

Several students attended the American Association of Geographers Conference April 3-7 in Washington, D.C. The conference was full of fun, winning awards and visiting alumni. Two geology students win awards

The Association of Missouri Geologists (AMG) recognized two Missouri State University students. Emma Gibson and Conor O’Dowd received awards Oct. 12 at the annual meeting of AMG.
