The Model United Nations is a new, student led organization on campus that promotes the understanding of international diplomacy. It will travel to conferences around the country, representing different countries within the United Nations. Students will take on the persona and positions of a particular country, and work with students from other universities to develop solutions to world problems. It is a great opportunity to practice negotiation, diplomacy, and research skills. The first conference is in February and MSU’s goal is to produce students who can handle any situation and help bring world issues to campus for discussion.
