Relief in the Philippines
The Philippines have been ravaged by a massive Typhoon, affecting many in the area. An early death toll is estimated to be at 10,000 by the United Nations and more than 600,000 are currently displaced. Volunteer Programs will be holding a collaboration meeting for a response effort on Thursday, November 14th at 5:00pm in the Center for Leadership & Volunteerism (Plaster Student Union 131) across from Starbucks. Any interested individuals or groups are welcome to attend to discuss ways to help create a unified and effective response effort for this horrific disaster.
Anyone (Faculty, Staff, Students, and Community) can come – please e-mail Patrick Grayshaw with any questions. If you cannot make it, but want to be involved please e-mail as well.
