The Graduate College hosted it’s 3rd annual “3-Minute Thesis” competition on October 20, and once again, it did not disappoint. Judges from across campus, the Springfield community and the audience selected the following winners:
1st – Sarah Spangler, Biology- College of Natural and Applied Science- presenting on how isotope signatures reveal diet in threatened turtles
2nd – Mecca Walker, International Business- College of Business- presenting the fair trade of philosophy and profit
3rd – John Short, Biology- College of Natural and Applied Sciences- presenting the recruitment of dynamins
4th & People’s Choice – Jacob Schneider, Plant Science- College of Agriculture- presenting a genetic study of dormant rooting ability in grapes
