Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus’ MAMMA MIA! will open our Broadway series with the Friday evening performance. MAMMA MIA! is a smash hit musical that is based on the songs of ABBA and has been seen by over 40 million people worldwide.
This is MAMMA MIA!’s 10th anniversary since its first production opened in London’s West End on April 6, 1999, and Hammons Hall is delighted to help celebrate show’s success. Celebrate is definitely the appropriate word. While MAMMA MIA! was on Broadway, both Mayor Michael Bloomberg and former U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell were spotted dancing in the aisles three times.
It’s not too late to get your tickets to one of this weekend’s five performances and see why audiences love this show. Call our box office at 836-7678 before they are sold out!
