It is almost as if the Aquila Theatre Company brought this beautiful weather with them to Springfield. Let the sunshine and pleasant temperatures be a foretaste of the performance Tuesday evening. The seven actors will take on 19 different roles during the performance and add a refreshing spirit to Shakespeare’s As You Like It.

Two members of the cast, Owen and Leandra, held a Shakespeare Master Class at the Hall Monday afternoon, teaching a group of middle school, high school and college students the art of performing Shakespeare. Owen and Leandra also took a sneak peek of the theatre, which will be transformed for the performance—transporting the audience to the Forest of Arden and an era of revolution.

Fun Fact: The well-known quote “All the world’s a stage….” is from As You Like It.
